Egg dosa recipe with step by step pictures 


                 Egg dosa is a simple breakfast recipe which is very easy to cook and tastes yummy.  Egg eaters love this recipe.  Egg dosa can be made in different varieties.  This recipe is a basic and simple recipe.  I used egg,  pepper, and salt alone.  You can add some onions or any grated veggies to it which enhances the taste.  Egg podi dosa also tastes good.  Check out the easy and simple muttai dosai recipe below with step by step pictures.

Ingredients  :

.  Dosa batter  -  as needed to make dosas
.  Eggs -  1 egg per dosa 
.  Black pepper powder  -  as needed
.  Salt to taste 
.  Oil  -  to drizzle over dosas 

Method  : 


             Heat dosa tawa.  Pour a laddle of dosa batter.  Flatten it.  Crack open an egg.  Spread it all over the dosa.  Drizzle a tsp of oil.  Sprinkle some salt and pepper.  Cook both the sides.  Your egg dosa is ready.


Pictorial   :

             1) Heat dosa tawa.  Pour a laddle of dosa batter.  


             2) Flatten it.  


           3) Crack open an egg. 


            4) Spread the egg allover the dosa. 


           5) Drizzle a tsp of oil around it. 


           6) Sprinkle some salt and pepper over the egg. Cook for 30 secs. 



           7) Flip it.  Again cook for 30 secs. 


           8) Cook until both sides are cooked. 


           9) Egg dosa is ready.  Serve hot with any chutney or sambar. 


Note  : 

            Adjust the salt and pepper upto your taste.  Add salt only for the egg as the dosa batter already have salt.
