Paneer tawa fry recipe with step by step pictures


 







                  Paneer is a healthy food that you can take it in your everyday meal. Paneer can be cooked in many ways , like paneer gravy, paneer pulao, paneer tikka, etc., Today I tried pan fried paneer with very few ingredients. The main thing is to marinate the paneer and you can also marinate it overnight and keep it in refrigerator and cook the next day. Do try at your home and it tastes too good.

Ingredients  :


.  Paneer  -  200 gms 
.  Curd  -  3 tblsp
.  Turmeric powder  -  1 tsp
.  Chilli powder  -  2 tsp
.  Ginger garlic paste  -  2 tsp
.   Salt to taste 
.   Garam masala  -  2 tsp
.   Curshed kasuri methi  -  2 tsp
.   Lemon juice  -  1 tsp
.   Oil to drizzle over paneer


Method  :


               1.  Cut the paneer into 2 inch pieces. Keep it aside. 

               2.  Take curd in a bowl. Add all the other ingredients except oil. Mix well. 

               3. Add paneer to it. Marinate well and keep it in refrigerator for atleast 1/2 an hour. 

               4.  Heat oil in a pan. Place the marinated panner pieces one by one over it. 

               5. Cook for 2 mins in medium flame. Flip it to another side. Cook for 2 mins. Remove to plate. Paneer tawa fry is ready. 


Pictorial  :


               Cut the paneer into 2 inch pieces


                       Take curd in a bowl


         Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala


         Add ginger garlic paste, crushed kasuri methi, lemon juice and salt


                                Mix it well


                   Add in the paneer pieces


         Marinate well and keep it in refrigerator for atleast 1/2 an hour


            Heat oil in tawa ( use non- stick tawa) 


               Place the marinated paneer pieces one by one over it


         Cook for 2 mins in medium flame and flip it to other side


       Cook for another 2 mins. Remove to plate


       Tasty and healthy paneer tawa fry is ready to be served.
