Egg fry/ egg onion fry

Egg fry recipe with step by step pictures 


            I love eggs.  I make egg recipes in alternative days in my day to day life.  Today i made egg fry with onion.  Boiled eggs has no flavour and masala taste,  so I dont like to eat the boiled eggs as a sidedish for rice.   So i have added onion in this recipe with some spice powders which gives you fantastic taste.  It is a very good combination for curd rice.  Hope you like it and give it a try.

Ingredients  :

.  eggs - 4
.  onion- 1 big onion (chopped lengthwise )
.  green chilli - 1
.  curry leaves - 1 sprig
.  Turmeric powder  - 1 pinch 
.  Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp 
.  Garam masala  - 1 tsp 
.  Cumin seeds - 1 tsp 
.  Oil - 1 tblsp 

Method :

        1.  Boil the eggs and cut into 2 pieces.  Heat oil in a kadai.  Add cumin seeds.  After it splutters,  add chopped onion,  green chilli,  curry leaves. 
       2.  Saute until it becomes golden brown. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and garan masala. Mix well. 
     3.  Cook for 30 secs.  Add eggs.  Gently mix it.  Cover the kadai and cook for 5 min in low flame. 
    4.  Give it a toss and again cook for 2-3 min. Egg onion fry ready. Serve. 

Pictorial :

           6) Mix it well.  Add eggs. 


           7) Mix it well.  Cover and cook for  5 min in low flame. 


          8) Gently flip the eggs.  Again cook for 2-3 min in low flame. 


         9) Serve.
