Egg thokku recipe with step by step pictures
Egg thokku is a sidedish for chapathi, dosa, or any other indian flat breads. It tastes good with steamed rice too. Egg thokku made in different styles. This recipe is one of the method of making egg thokku. Try this recipe and let me know.

Ingredients :
. Eggs - 4
. onion - 2 medium sized (finely chopped)
. Tomato - 2 medium sized ( pureed)
. ginger -garlic paste - 2tblsp
. green chilli - 1 (finely chopped )
. curry leaves - 1sprig
. turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
. chilli powder - 1tsp
. coriander powder - 1tblsp
. garam masala - 1tblsp
. fennel seeds - 1tsp
. cinnamon - 2 pinch
. cloves - 4
. oil - 2tblsp
Method :
1. Boil the eggs. Cut into cubes. Keep it aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cinnamon, cloves and fennel seeds.
3. After it splutters, add onion, curry leaves and green chillies.
4. saute until it becomes soft. Add ginger garlic paste. Saute until raw smell goes out.
5. Add tomato puree. Saute it for 2minutes.
6. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala to it. Mix well. Add salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
7. When oil separates, add 1cup water to it. When it starts boiling, add cubed eggs.
8. Cook until it reaches the thick consistency or cook until oil separates. Serve.

Note :
1. check salt and spices before adding eggs.
2. After adding eggs to the gravy, mix gently. Otherwise, the yellow
of the egg spoil the texture.
