Instant wheat dosa recipe with step by step pictures 


                Wheat flour dosa is a healthy option when compared to rice flour dosa.  It is an instant dosa and very simple recipe.  It is very soft and tasty as well.  This is one of my everyday recipes.  Whenever i dont have dosa batter at home or was bored of idli, dosas then this was a great option.  It is instant that we just make batter with wheat flour and salt by adding required batter and make dosas.  
            This wheat dosa can be served with any pickle or chutneys.  But my favourite was Coconut fried gram chutney  and  Tomato thokku without onion .  These are the ultimate combination.  Do try it.

Ingredients :

.  Wheat flour -  2 cup 
.  Water -  as per consistency 
.  Salt as need 
.  Oil -  to drizzle over dosas 


Method :

          1. Take wheat flour in a bowl.  Add required salt and water.  Mix well without any lumps.  Add water until it comes to dosa batter consistency.  

        2. Heat dosa tawa.  Pour a laddle of batter.  Flatten it.  Cook for 30 secs in medium flame.  Flip it.  Again cook for 30 secs.  Instant wheat flour dosa is ready.  Serve hot. 


Pictorial  :

            1) Take wheat flour in a bowl. 


           2) Add salt. 


           3) Add water. 


          4) Mix well and make batter.  ( The batter should be neither thick nor thin.  It should be in flowy consistency. ) 


          5) Heat dosa tawa.  Pour a laddle of the batter. 


          6) Flatten it using the laddle. 


         7) Drizzle a tsp of oil around the dosa. 


         8) cook for 30 secs and flip it. 


          9) Again cook for 30 secs.  Flip it. 


         10) Instant wheat flour dosa is ready.  Serve hot with your favorite sidedish.
