Manathakkali keerai chutney recipe with step by step pictures
Manathakkali keerai chutney is a healthy sidedish recipe for idli, dosas. In English, manathakkali keerai is called black night shade. I often make this chutney for my kids. My daughter loves it and says its 'green chutney' as it is in green colour. It is very healthy and perfect for the kids who doesn't like to eat spinach. It is better to take spinach(greens) weekly thrice. I make keerai masiyal, keerai poriyal and chutney often.
It is better to serve keerai (spinach) for breakfast or lunch because, it is little hard to digest and not suitable for dinner. Manathakkali keerai has its own taste and you can serve this chutney for rice also. Do not make this chutney thin. It must be little thick. Do try this recipe and sure it must be your one of the favorite chutneys.
