Coconut fried gram chutney

Coconut fried gram chutney recipe with step by step pictures 

                Coconut fried gram chutney is a sidedish for idli,  dosa,  poori,  adai dosa and medhu vadai.  This chutney is very easy to make.

               We can make this recipe within 2 minutes.  We don't need to cook anything.  Only two steps . Grinding and tempering. For this recipe either red Chilly or green chilly can be used.  Here i use green chillies because i like it. 

Ingredients :

To grind :
     .   coconut  - 1 cup ( grated )
     .   fried gram  -  1/2  cup 
     .    Green chillies  - 2
     .   garlic pods - 2
     .   ginger  - 1 small piece 
    .   Curry leaves  - 1 sprig 

To temper:
    .  oil - 1 tblsp 
    .   Mustard seeds  - 1 tsp 
    .   Urad dal  - 1 tsp 

Method :

     1.  Grind all the ingredients in the mixer jar. 

    2.  Transfer it to the bowl. 

    3.  In a tempering pan,  add oil,  mustard seeds and urad dal. 

    4.  After it splutters,  pour into the grounded chutney. 

    5.  Your chutney is ready to serve. 

Pictorial :

        2)  Transfer to mixer jar. 

        3)  Grind it. 

         4)  In a tadka pan,  add mustard seeds,  urad dal. 

         5)  After it splutter,  pour into the chutney and serve.
