Vegetable egg fried rice - dinner recipes

Vegetable egg fried rice - leftover rice recipe with step by step pictures 


              Vegetable egg fried rice is an indo-Chinese dish.  Usually fried rice can be made with basmati rice or any long rice. But I made this vegetable egg fried rice with normal south Indian rice. The reason why I made this with normal rice was,  I have some leftover rice and thought of making it as a meal for dinner. Luckily I have some vegetables and egg at home and i ended up with a super meal - vegetable egg fried rice. 


               I often make this recipe whenever I have some leftover rice.  This recipe doesn't take much time to cook and tastes very yummy. Try out this recipe.

Ingredients :

.  Boiled rice - 1cup 
.  Egg - 1 
. Onion - 2tblsp chopped 
.  carrot - 1 finely chopped 
.  Beans - 6 finely chopped 
.  Cabbage - 1/2 cup finely chopped 
.  Spring onion - 2 tblsp finely chopped 
.  Oil - 2tblsp 
.  Dark soy sauce  - 1 tsp 
.  White pepper powder  - 1 tsp 
.  Salt to taste 


Method  :


     1.  Heat oil in the pan.  Add the egg.  Scrumble it.  

     2.  Add chopped veggies . Saute until raw smell goes out.  

    3.  Add rice.  Mix it.  

    4.  Add soy sauce,  white pepper powder and salt .

    5.  Toss well.  Add spring onion. 

    6.  Serve.
