Ridge gourd(peerkangai ) kootu recipe with step by step pictures
Ridge gourd kootu is an accompaniment for steamed rice. It is less spicy yet very tasty recipe. I always use moong dal alone for kootu recipes. But Today I made this peerkangai kootu with both toor dal and moong dal. It is very easy to make recipe and does not take much time. In this recipes, i have used the seed part also as it is tender. If it is not tender, remove the seeds. It is served with any sidedish(poriyal). Hope you like it. Try it.
