Caramelized banana recipe with step by step pictures 


               Caramelized banana is a healthy and tasty snacks recipe.  It is a quick recipe and it is made with commonly  available ingredients in your pantry. Caramelized banana is served as such and it is served as a topping for pancakes in the breakfast.  It can also be served along with a scoop of icecreams as a desert.  Try this mouth watering snack and you love it.

Ingredients   : 


.   Banana   -  2 medium sized 
.   Jaggery powder / brown sugar  -  1 tblsp
.   Oil /ghee/ butter  -  2 tsp


Method  :


           1. Cut the banana as per your desired shapes.  

           2. Heat oil in a pan.  Add banana.  Gently Saute for a min until golden brown.  Add jaggery powder.  Mix well until it caramelizes.  

         3. Flip the banana pieces.  Roast for a min until the banana gets coated with the syrup.  Turn off the stove.  Serve after it completely cools down.

Add banana pieces


Gently roast for a min until golden brown 


Add jaggery powder


Mix well for a min until it caramelizes 


Flip the banana pieces gently and mix it until it coated with the jaggery syrup.  Turn off the stove. 


Caramelized banana is ready to be served (serve it after it cools completely)
