Caramelized banana recipe with step by step pictures
Caramelized banana is a healthy and tasty snacks recipe. It is a quick recipe and it is made with commonly available ingredients in your pantry. Caramelized banana is served as such and it is served as a topping for pancakes in the breakfast. It can also be served along with a scoop of icecreams as a desert. Ingredients :
. Banana - 2 medium sized
. Jaggery powder / brown sugar - 1 tblsp
. Oil /ghee/ butter - 2 tsp
Method :
1. Cut the banana as per your desired shapes.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add banana. Gently Saute for a min until golden brown. Add jaggery powder. Mix well until it caramelizes.
3. Flip the banana pieces. Roast for a min until the banana gets coated with the syrup. Turn off the stove. Serve after it completely cools down.
