               Thalicha thayir (tadka curd)  is a quick and easy recipe yet very healthy and tasty.  Curd is very healthy and we must include it in our food weekly twice and it is good to have everyday.  Mixing curd alone with rice along with salt is tasty.  But for me,  tadka curd is more tastier and my family loves it.  I always have curd at home.  ( check my How to make homemade curd) .  If i want to make a rice accompaniment within a min,  this is my first choice.  Do try at once,  sure you love it.  
           Tempering few ingredients and mixed with fresh curd just fulfills your tadtebuds. You can mix this tadka curd with rice or you can topped it to make thayir vada,  thayir idli.  Check out how to make tadka curd below.

Ingredients   :


.   Curd  -  1 cup
.   Oil  -  1 tsp
.   Mustard seeds  -  1/2 tsp
.   Urad dal  -  1/2 tsp
.   Chana dal  -  1/2 tsp
.   Curry leaves   -  1 sprig
.   Dry red chillies  -  2 (broken) 
.   Salt 


Method  : 


           1. Temper the curd with the given ingredients.  Add salt and mix well.  Your tadka curd is ready.

                    Take curd in a bowl


Heat oil in tadka pan


Add mustard seeds,  urad dal and chana dal


After it splutters and turns to golden brown,  add curry leaves and dry red chillies 


Add this tempering into curd


Add salt


Mix well


Tadka curd(thalicha thayir)  is ready
