Momos chutney / simple momos chutney

 Momos chutney recipe with step by step pictures



                 Momos chutney is a sidedish served with steamed momos as well  as fried momos along with mayonnaise.  Today I have made this easy momos chutney with the ingredients that is commonly available in our pantry. I made it without vinegar. If you wish you can add that too. Check out the momos chutney recipe below with step by step pictures. 


Ingredients  :

.  Tomato  -  1
.  Dry red chillies (remove the seeds) -  3
.  Garlic cloves  -  5
.  Salt to taste
.  Pepper powder  -  1/2 tsp
.  Lemon juice  -  1 tsp
.  Sugar  -  1 tsp


Method  : 


             1.  Take tomato and dry red chillies in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup of water. Boil for 3 mins. Turn off the flame. Let it cool. 

            2. Remove the skin of tomato. Take the tomato and chillies in a mixer jar. 

           3. Add garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, sugar. Grind it to smooth paste. Pour it in a bowl and serve. 


Pictorial  : 


                Take tomato and dry red chillies in a bowl along with 1/2 cup of water. 


                Boil for 2 - 3 mins. Turn off the flame. Let it cool.

                   Grind it to a smooth paste.  



             Momos chutney is ready. Serve with steamed momos Or fried momos
