Veg soup recipe with step by step pictures
Vegetable soup is a healthy and easy soup recipe which is made with very few ingredients. I have used carrots, beans, fresh peas and cabbage in this recipe. You can add other veggies like mushroom, corn, brocolli, etc. I have used pressure cooker for fast cooking. You can cook in open vessel too. Let's get into the recipe below with step by step pictures.

Ingredients :
. Oil - 1 tsp
. Ginger - 1 inch piece ( minced )
. Garlic - 2 cloves ( minced )
. Carrot - 1 medium sized ( finely chopped)
. Beans - 6 ( finely chopped)
. Cabbage - 1/2 cup ( shredded)
. Fresh peas - 1/4 cup
. Salt to taste
. Pepper powder - 2 tsp
. Corn flour - 1 tblsp
Method :
1. Heat oil in pressure cooker. Add minced ginger and garlic. Saute for few secs.
2. Add finely chopped veggies. Add salt. Saute for 2 mins. Add water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
3. After pressure releases, add pepper powder. Take corn flour in a bowl. Add water and make slurry. Add this into soup.
4. Cook for 5 mins. Turn off the flame. Serve it hot.

Pressure cook for 2 whistles
Take 1 tblsp of corn flour
Add water and make slurry
Add the slurry to the soup
Add pepper powder
Cook for 5 mins
Turn off the flame
Easy and tasty veg soup is ready. Serve it hot. Add more pepper powder if needed.
