South-indian lunch menu

As all we know  south-indian lunch menu consists of a main coarse ( rice)  with one or many accompaniment and sidedish  (poriyal)  and sweets or desserts.  Today i am going to share my everyday lunch menu which is very simple and can be done for a busy weekdays.  This lunch menu contains rice,  chow chow sambar,  venthaya keerai thoran,  tadka curd and some Pappads.

Sambar is one of the favorite dish of my family.  Today i made sambar with chayote (chow chow).  I have tried venthaya keerai thoran for the first time.  It can be taken as a sidedish as well as it goes well with rice.  I include spinach atleast twice in a week. And today i made thoran which is very easy and tastes too good.  Curd is always a must having item in my refrigerator.  I made a simple tempering to it to make curd even tastier ( check my How to make homemade curd) .  Finally i fried some pappads.  I just made this lunch menu within 40 mins and it is perfect for busy days.

I have already posted the recipes and you can check out through the links given below.
