South-indian lunch menu 


           Today i cooked a simple lunch which include veggies as well as pulse ( black eyed pea).  This menu consists of thattai payaru kulambu and carrot beans poriyal.  I started by pressure cooking the thattai payaru ( black eyed pea)  which i soaked overnight,  then chopped the veggies side by side.  In the meantime while pressure releases,  i saute  onion,  tomato,  garlic for kulambu and temper for carrot beans poriyal.  After pressure releases and after cooled the sauted veggies,  i ground that to a paste and make kulambu.  Kulambu and poriyal has done side by side.  In the meantime of cooking,  rice was soaked and finally i cook the rice.  Thats my simple lunch have done within 45 mins to 1 hour.
