2 ingredients chocolate cake in appam pan recipe with step by step pictures 


              Chocolate cake is my all time favorite. I often make it for my daughters.    But due to this quarantine,  i dont have the ingredients at my hand.  So i thought of doing this easy and simple cake,  and today i made it.  It is very easy and you need only 2 ingredients and also it takes less than 10 mins to cook.  I have already posted the Moist chocolate cake  recipe.  Check that too.  Hope you like it and try it at your home.

Ingredients   :


.   Oreo biscuits  -   12
.   Milk  -  1/4 cup

Method  : 


        1.  Take oreo biscuits in a mixer jar.  Grind it to fine powder without chunks.  Transfer to bowl.

       2.   Add milk little by little and mix well to get a batter.  

        3. Grease the appam pan with little oil.  Spoon the batter in the pan.  Switch on the flame.  

        4. Place the appam pan over the stove. Keep the flame at high for 30 secs.  Turn the flame to low.  Cover the pan with plate.  

        5. Cook for 5- 6 mins.  Gently flip it.  Cook for 2 mins.  Remove to plate.  Serve it warm.

           Take oreo biscuits in a mixer jar


Grind it to fine powder without chunks


Transfer to a bowl


Add milk little by little


Mix well to get a smooth batter


Grease the appam pan (paniyaram skillet) with little oil


Spoon the prepared batter into it


Switch on the flame.  Place the appam pan on stove.  Cover with plate. Keep the flame in high for 30 secs


Turn the flame to low and cook for 5 - 6 mins


Gently flip it


Again cover with plate and cook for 2 mins


Mini chocolate cake ready.  Remove to plate. 


Serve it warm.  ( if it cools,  the outer layer becomes hard and to avoid the hardness,  add some oil or butter to the batter)
