Potato bread roll recipe with step by step pictures 


               Bread roll is a evening time snack recipe.  I like this bread roll a lot.  Whenever i went to bakery shops,  sure i buy this bread roll.  Today i have tried this recipe and it came out too good for the first time itself. I stuffed this bread roll with potatoes alone.  You can use your favorite vegetables or any stuffing.   Do try at your home and sure you like it.

Ingredients   :

.   Bread slices  -  6 
.   Potato   -  3 medium sized (mashed) 
.   Oil  -  1 tblsp
.   Cumin seeds  -  1 tsp
.   Ginger garlic paste   -  1 tsp
.   Turmeric powder   -  1/4 tsp
.   Chilli powder  -  1 tsp
.   Chaat masala  -  1 tsp 
.   Salt to taste
.   Oil for frying bread rolls

Method  :


            1.  Heat oil in a kadai.  Add cumin seeds.  After it sizzle,  add Ginger garlic paste.  Saute until raw smell goes out. 

            2. Add boiled and mashed potatoes.  Saute for few secs.  Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala and salt.  Mix well.  Cook for a min.  Turn off the flame.  Let it cool. 

           3. Take the bread slices.  Cut the brown edges.  Dip the slice in water for a sec.  Take it out.  Squeeze the water using your palm.  

          4. Place a spoon of stuffing at center.  Cover the stuffing gently with bread.  Similarly make all the bread slices.  

          5. Heat oil for frying.  Keep the flame to medium.  Drop the bread rolls gently one by one.  Leave it for few secs.  Gently flip it using a laddle.  

          6. Fry until you get brown colour.  Strain it.  Yummy tasty bread roll is ready.  Serve with ketchup.

Add boil and mashed Potatoes ( i have grated the boiled potatoes to avoid any chunks).  Saute for few secs


Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, chaat masala and salt


Mix well and cook for a min.  Turn off the flame.  Let it cool


Take bread slices.  Cut the brown edges


Dip the bread slice in water for a secs ( make sure you must dip it for a sec just to make the bread soft enough to roll.  Otherwise bread will break) 


Take it out.  Squeeze the water with your palm


Place a spoon of prepared stuffing at center


Cover the stuffing with bread gently.  Cover all the sides


Similarly make all the bread rolls


Heat oil for frying


Keep the flame to medium.  Drop the bread rolls one by one


Leave it for few secs.  Gently flip it using a laddle


Fry until you get brown colour.  Strain the bread rolls


Yummy and tasty bread rolls are ready.  Serve with ketchup
