Rava dosa recipe with step by step pictures
Rava dosa is an instant dosa recipe which is served as a breakfast or dinner. It is very crispy and tastes too good. If i dont have dosa batter at home, then this is one of my options. It is made with easily available ingredients in our pantry. I tried to make it as such in restaurants. But the main difference is the center portion is little thick as my dosa tawa is curved in shape. In restaurants, they have flat tawa and they attain the crispiness all over the dosa. Do try at your home.

Ingredients :
. Rava - 1/2 cup
. Rice flour - 1/3 cup
. Maida - 1/4 cup
. Curry leaves - 1 sprig
. Coriander leaves - 2 tblsp (finely chopped)
. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
. Ginger - 1 inch piece (finely chopped)
. Green chilli - 1 ( finely chopped)
. Onion - 1 small sized ( finely chopped) (i haven't added today)
. Salt as needed
. Oil to drizzle over dosa
Method :
1. Take rava in a bowl. Add all the other ingredients other than oil. Add water and mix well without any lumps.
2. Rest it for 15 mins. Add more water and mix well. It must be in watery consistency.
3. Heat dosa tawa. Pour a laddle of batter from edges of the tawa towards center. Fill the gap with the batter.
4. Cook until it becomes golden brown. Flip it gently. Cook for few secs. Remove from tawa. Crispy rava dosa is ready.

Drizzle a tsp of oil around it. Cook until golden brown
Flip the dosa and cook for few secs. Remove from tawa
