Mint paratha recipe with step by step pictures
Mint paratha is an Indian breakfast or dinner recipe. It is made with wheat flour, mint leaves and some spices. It is very flavourful and tastes delicious. You doesn't need any gravies to accompany it. It tastes awesome with onion raita alone. Do try at once and sure you like it.

Ingredients :
To make 4 parathas :
. Wheat flour - 1 cup
. Mint leaves - 3 tblsp ( finely chopped)
. Salt to taste
. Oil - 2 tsp to add in flour
. Oil - to drizzle over paratha
. Gingelly oil - 2 tblsp
. Jeera powder - 2 tsp
. Chaat masala - 2 tsp
. Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Method :
1. Take wheat flour. Add salt and oil. Mix well. Add chopped mint leaves. Add water and make it a soft dough. Rest for 10 mins.
2. Take jeera powder, pepper powder and chaat masala in a bowl. Add gingelly oil. Mix well and make a slurry. Keep it aside.
3. Take a small dough ball. Dust with flour and flatten it using rolling pin. Spread 2 tsp of spice slurry over it.
4. Make pleats. Roll it and tuck the end. Spread it gently.
5. Heat tawa. Place the flattened dough. Drizzle a tsp of oil. Cook both the sides in medium flame until you get brown spots.
6. Remove to plate. Tap with hands to get layers. Serve with your favorite sidedish or simply with raita.

Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl
Add 2 tsp of oil and salt
Mix well
Add finely chopped mint leaves
Add enough water and knead it to make a soft dough. Rest it for 10 mins
Take a small dough ball

Tap with your hands to get the layers
Serve with onion raita
