                Palak paratha (palak Chapathi)  is an indian healthy breakfast recipe.  It is very easy to cook recipe and it is perfect for kids who hates spinach.  Just simply grind palak keerai with some more ingredients and mix the puree to wheat flour and make parathas.  It is one of the easy way to hide spinach (keerai)  in kids food.  Try out this recipe.  I have made palak poori and palak dosa in this method.  Check out that too.

Ingredients   : 


.   Palak keerai   -  1 handful (tightly packed)  
.   Wheat flour  -  2 cup
.   Ginger  -  1 inch piece  
.   Green chilli  -  1 ( skip it if you cook for kids)
.   Garlic cloves  -  4 
.   Salt to taste
.   Oil to drizzle over chapathi 


Method  : 


            1.  Grind palak keerai along with ginger,  garlic and green chilli by adding little water in a mixer jar. 

           2. Add this puree to wheat flour.  Add salt and knead it to make a dough.  Add water if required.  Apply a tsp of oil over it and rest it for 10 -  15 mins. 

         3. Make the dough into small dough balls.  Flatten it using rolling pin.  

          4. Heat tawa.  Place the flatten dough.  Drizzle a tsp  of oil around it.  Cook for 10 secs and flip it.  Again cook for 10 secs.  Cook both the side until you get brown spots in it.  

          5. Take it out.  Similarly cook all the parathas.  Serve with your favorite sidedish.

               Take palak keerai, ginger,  garlic and green chilli in a mixer jar. 


Grind it to a smooth puree by adding little water


Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl


Add palak puree


Add required salt


Make it as a dough ( add water if required).  Apply a tsp of oil and rest it for 10- 15bmins 


Make the dough into small dough balls

Heat tawa and place the flattened dough over it


Drizzle a tsp of oil around it.  Cook for 10 secs


Flip it and cook for another 10 secs.  Cook both the sides until you get the brown spots over it


Similarly make all the parathas.  Tasty,  healthy palak paratha is ready to be served
