Butter cake recipe with step by step pictures
Butter cake is one of the simple and easiest cake recipe . It can be made with just 6 ingredients that is available in our pantry. Butter is the main ingredient and i have used store bought butter. You can use homemade butter too. I used vanilla essence for the aroma and you can also use rose essence for different aroma. Ingredients :
. Butter - 100 gms
. Maida / all purpose flour - 1 cup (approximately 125 gms)
. Powdered sugar - 1 cup (approximately 125 gms)
. Egg - 3
. Baking powder - 1/2 tblsp
. Vanilla essence - 1 tblsp
Method :
1. Preheat the pressure cooker in medium flame for 10 mins by placing salt and stand.
2. In a mixing bowl, take soft butter. Mix it for a min. Add maida, powdered sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla essence and baking powder.
3. Mix well and the cake batter is now ready.
4. Apply some butter in the cake pan and dust it with flour.
5. Pour the batter into the pan and tap it to level the batter. Place the pan inside the preheated cooker.
6. Cover with lid without whistle! and cook in low flame for 45 - 50 mins.
7. Take it out and let it cool. Remove from pan. Yummy butter cake is ready.

Put salt inside the pressure cooker. Place a stand inside it. Cover with lid without whistle. Preheat the cooker for 10 mins in medium flame
Take the soft butter in a mixing bowl
Beat it for a min
Add maida / All purpose flour
Add powdered sugar
Crack open 3eggs in a mixer jar
Pulse it until frothy
Add the beaten eggs
Add vanilla essence
Add baking powder
Mix well to get soft cake batter
Grease the cake pan with butter and dust it with some flour. You can use butter paper to line the cake pan
Pour the batter into cake pan. Tap it to level the batter
Place the pan inside the preheated pressure cooker. Cover with lid without whistle
Cook in low flame for about 45 - 50 mins. Take it out and let it cool. Remove it from cake pan
Yummy 😋😋 butter cake is ready
