Egg omelette recipe with step by step pictures 


               Egg omelette is a simple sidedish recipe that can be made within 2 mins.  Egg eaters love this recipe.  It is made with beaten eggs and some onion,  pepper and salt.  If i dont have much time to cook and wanted to make sidedish,  then this was my first option.  I have already posted Egg masala omelette  with some added masala in it.  This is the simple and basic south-indian egg omelette.

Ingredients  :

.  Eggs -  2 
.  Onion -  1 tblsp  (finely chopped) 
.  Curry leaves  -  1 tblsp (finely chopped) 
.  Coriander leaves  -  1 tblsp (finely chopped) 
.  Green chilli -  1 (finely chopped) 
.  Salt to taste 
.  Pepper  powder -  1 tsp 
.  Oil to drizzle over omelette 


Method :

           1. Crack open the eggs.  Add finely chopped onion, green chilli, coriander and curry leaves. Add salt and pepper.  Beat well. 

          2. Heat dosa tawa.  Pour the egg mixture.  Drizzle a tsp of oil.  Cook for 30 secs.  Flip it and cook for 30 secs.  Egg omelette is ready to be served. 


Pictorial  :

           1) Crack open the eggs. 


          2) Add finely chopped onion, green chilli, curry leaves and coriander leaves. 


          3) Add salt and pepper. 


         4) Beat well. 


         5) Heat the tawa. 


        6) Pour the egg mixture. 


         7) Drizzle a tsp of oil. Cook for 30 secs. 


         8) Flip it.  Cook for 30 secs. 


         9) Egg omelette is ready.
