Idli upma recipe / leftover idli recipe

Idli upma recipe with step by step pictures

Idli upma is a universal recipe for leftover idlis.  It is the best way to make the leftover idlis as a breakfast or a snack.  I usually prepare idli upma by tempering few ingredients and saute with turmeric powder which gives nice colour to the upma and flavour as well.  I have already posted my version of Idli upma.  Check that too.

This version of idli upma has learnt from some other blog.  I was wondered that this version of idli upma doesn't have turmeric powder and it looks like rava upma as it is white in colour.  It's main taste enhancer is Coconut.  I usually serve idli upma with Coconut chutney but this recipe doesn't need any sidedish.  I have done this with excitement and it truly tastes yummy.  The flavour of Coconut gives great taste.  Give it a try and sure you love it.
