Soya chunks kola urundai is a sidedish recipe or snacks recipe. It is a better alternate for mutton kola urundai. Soya chunks is protein rich and it is healthy for kids too. I always have some soya chunks in my pantry. If i dont have any vegetables, then i definitely go for this soya chunks. I used to add it in my gravy, kurma, pulao, biryani, brinji. Today i wanted to try this kola urundai. It came out too good for the first time itself.

Ingredients :
. Soya chunks - 1 cup
. Onion - 1 medium sized ( finely chopped)
. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tblsp
. Chilli powder - 2 tsp
. Salt to taste
. Rice flour - 3 tblsp
. Gram flour - 1 /2 cup
. Oil for frying
Method :
1. Soak soya chunks in hot water for 10 mins. Strain it. Squeeze the excess water. Grind it to a coarse paste in a mixer jar.
2. Transfer to a bowl. Add finely chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt, rice flour and gram flour. Mix well.
3. Roll it into small dumplings. Heat oil for frying. Drop the dumplings one by one. Fry until all the sides becomes golden brown. Fry in medium to low flame. Strain it. Soya chunks kola urundai is ready.

Mix it well. Add more flour if needed
Roll it as a small dumplings
Heat oil for frying
Drop the dumplings one by one
Fry until all the sides becomes golden brown. (Cook in medium to low flame to get cooked evenly) . It would take 2 - 3 mins.
Strain it
Tasty soya chunks kola urundai is ready to be served
