Phulka recipe with step by step pictures
Phulka is a north-indian breakfast recipe. It is made with wheat flour(atta). It is made as like Chapathi but it doesn't need oil to cook and also it is very soft than chapathi. It puffs like poori. It is very healthy and it is suitable for diet. Do try at your home. Sure you like it.

Ingredients :
. Wheat flour /atta - 2 cup
. Salt - as needed
. Water as required
. Oil - 1/2 tsp to grease the dough
Method :
1. Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt. Mix well. Add enough water to knead the flour. Knead it to make a soft dough. Grease the dough with 1/2 tsp of oil. Rest for 15 mins.
2. Make the dough into small dough balls. Take a dough ball. Dust with flour. Flatten it using rolling pin.
3. Heat tawa. Place the flattened dough over hot tawa. Cook for 10 secs. Flip it. Press the sides of it using a cloth.
4. Take it using a tong and place it over direct flame. It puffs nicely. Immediately remove it to plate. Tasty and soft phulka is ready.

Flip it. Cook for 10 secs
Press the sides using a cloth
Take it using a tong (idukki)
Place it over direct flame. It puffs well. Remove to plate immediately
Phulka is ready. Serve with your favorite sidedish
