Dosa is one of the most popular south-indian breakfast recipe. We can make different varieties of dosas. This mushroom masala dosai is one of my favorite till I tasted it for the first time. It is very simple that you can make some dry curries and spread it on dosa to get masala dosas. I tried this mushroom masala dosai today and it came out too good. Do try at your home.

Ingredients :
To make 2 dosas :
. Dosa batter - 2 laddle full
. Oil to drizzle over dosas
. Mushroom - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
. Oil - 2 tsp
. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
. Onion - 1/2 onion ( finely chopped)
. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
. Tomato - 1/2 (finely chopped)
. Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
. Salt to taste
. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
. Garam masala - 1 tsp
. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
. Coriander leaves - 1 tblsp ( finely chopped)
Method :
1. Heat oil in kadai. Add fennel seeds. After it sizzle, add onion. Saute until onion turns translucent.
2. Add ginger garlic paste. Saute for few secs. Add tomato, turmeric powder and salt. Saute until mushy.
3. Add spice powders. Saute for few secs. Add mushroom. Mix well. Cover with lid. Cook in low flame for 3 mins. It leaves water.
4. Cook until it gets dried. Add pepper powder and coriander leaves. Mix well. Turn off the flame.
5. Make dosa. Spread the prepared masala over it. Cook in medium flame. Cook until crisp. Remove to plate. Enjoy the tasty mushroom masala dosai.

After it crackle, add chopped onion
Saute until onion turns translucent
Add ginger garlic paste. Saute for few secs
Add chopped tomato
Add turmeric powder and salt
Saute until mushy
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala
Saute for few secs
Add chopped mushroom
Mix it well
Cover with lid. Cook for 3 mins. It leaves water.
Cook until it gets dried. Add pepper powder and coriander leaves
Mix well. Turn off the flame
Make a thin dosa
Place the prepared masala at center
Spread the masala. Cook in medium flame
Cook until crisp
Remove to plate. Serve. It doesn't need any chutneys by side.
