 Onion raita recipe with step by step pictures



              Onion raita is a simple and basic recipe which is commonly served as an accompany for biriyani. It is also served for north-indian flat breads like paratha, naan, roti and phulka. It is a no fire cooking recipe that you can make it in a min. In this post I have shared the basic onion raita recipe. You can make variations by adding veggies like cucumber, carrots or fruits like pomegranate, grapes.

Ingredients  : 


.  Curd  -  1 cup
.  Onion  -  1 medium sized  (sliced) 
.  Coriander leaves  -  2 tblsp (finely chopped) 
.  Green chilli  -  1 (finely chopped) 
.  Salt to taste


Method  :


          1. Whisk the curd well. Slice the onion. Chop the coriander leaves and green chilli finely. 

         2. Add onion, coriander leaves, green chilli to curd along with salt. Add water if needed. Mix well. Serve.

              Take thick curd in a bowl


                 Whisk well without lumps


          Add finely chopped coriander leaves, green chilli, sliced onion and salt


          Mix well. Add water as per your consistency


                                      Serve
