           Potato tawa roast is a simplest recipe which tastes amazing when served with sambar rice, curd rice or any south-indian veg meal. Potato roast is my all time favorite. It is very easy to cook recipe and perfect for lunch box sidedish. Do try at your home and sure you love it.

Ingredients  : 


.  Potato  -  3
.  Oil  -  2 tblsp
.  Turmeric powder  -  1/2 tsp
.  Kashmiri chilli powder  -  2 tsp ( you can use normal chilli powder) 
.  Coriander powder  - 2 tsp
.  Cumin powder  -  1 tsp
.  Garam masala  - 1 tsp
.  Salt  to taste
.  Lemon juice  -  1 tsp 


Method  : 


          1. Pressure cook the potatoes for 1 whistle. Peel the skin and cut into discs. 

         2. Take all the spice powders in a bowl along with salt and lemon juice. Mix it well to make a paste. 

        3. Marinate the sliced potatoes with prepared masala paste. Leave it for 5 mins. 

        4. Heat oil in tawa. Place the potato slice in it. Cover with lid. Cook for 2 mins in low flame. 

       5. Gently flip the potatoes with spoon. Cook for another min. Turn off the stove. Remove to plate. Serve.

          Pressure cook potatoes for 1 whistle. Peel the skin


                          Cut into discs


       Take chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder , salt and lemon juice in a bowl


     Add 2 tsp of water. Mix well to make a paste


           Marinate the potato slices with the prepared masala paste. Rest it for 5 mins


        Heat oil in tawa. Place the potatoes in tawa


         Cover with lid. Cook in low flame for 2 mins. Flip it with spoon. Cook for another min. 


     Turn off the flame. Remove to plate. Serve
