South-indian lunch menu / lunch menu
Hello all. Today i am so happy that i reached my 100th post. This post is my simple south-indian lunch menu which i cook very often. It is very easy and it would take less than an hour. This menu has drumstick sambar, tomato rasam, homemade curd, boiled rice, plantain(valakkai) fry and some papads. My husband needs rasam and curd whenever i serve rice with kulambu. He says that rasam and curd gives you complete feel of the lunch. Personally, i like papads(appalam) a lot. So i included that too.
There are many vegetables that is used to make sambar but the ultimate one is this drumstick sambar. It has its own taste. My daughter likes tomato rasam that tastes like soup(she says). I make homemade curd often. I always keep it in my refrigerator for further use. Plantain fry is very easy and simple to cook recipe. I have already posted the recipes. Check out recipe through the links given below,
Hope you like the menu and try it in your home.
Enjoy the food!
Leave a comment that you liked it or not and give me any suggestions about the combinations for sambar.
