             Palak Poori is an indian breakfast or dinner recipe.  It is made with wheat flour and palak (spinach) .  It is very healthy and perfect for lunch box recipes.  It is ideal for kids those who dont like spinach.  It is one of the better way to hide spinach in their food.  Palak poori is a quick recipe that wont take more time to cook.  It is a easy recipe with simple steps which is ground palak mixed with wheat flour and make poori. I have added only one green chilli in this recipe still i cook for my kids,  add more as per your taste. The colour of the poori is soo appealing. Try this recipe and it tastes too good.

Ingredients   : 


.   Wheat flour  -  2 cup
.   Palak keerai   -  2 cup (tightly packed)  
.   Green chilli  -  1 (as per your taste) 
.   Ginger  -  1 inch piece
.   Garlic cloves  -  4 
.   Salt to taste 
.   Oil for frying poori 


Method  : 


             1. Take palak keerai,  green chilli, ginger and garlic in a mixer jar.  Grind it to a fine puree by adding little water. 

            2. Add the palak puree to wheat flour.  Add salt.  Make it as a dough.  Divide into small balls.  

           3. Spread the dough using rolling pin.  Heat oil in a kadai.  Drop the dough into oil and make poori.  Palak poori is ready.

           Take palak keerai, green chilli, ginger and garlic in a mixer jar


Grind it to a smooth puree by adding little water


Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl


Add palak puree


Add salt


Make it as a dough.  Add water if required.  Apply a tsp of oil over the dough.  Rest it for 15 mins


Divide the dough into small dough balls


Spread the dough ball evenly using rolling pin.  It must be little thick


Heat oil in a kadai.  


Drop the dough into oil.  Press it with laddle.  It will puff and flip it.  Cook for few secs.  Strain it


Serve hot with your favorite sidedish
