Ingredients :
. Shredded Cabbage - 1 cup
. Onion - 1 big sized ( sliced)
. Curry leaves - 2 sprig (finely chopped)
. Gram flour - 1 cup
. Rice flour - 1 /4 cup
. Chilli powder - 2 tsp
. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
. Salt to taste
. Hing / asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
. Baking soda - 1 pinch (optional)
. Oil for frying
Method :
1. Take shredded Cabbage. Add onion and curry leaves. Add all the other ingredients except oil. Mix it.
2. Add water. Mix it to get a batter. Heat oil for frying. Roll some batter in our hand. Drop it into oil.
3. Cook in medium flame until all the sides becomes golden brown . Flip the bonda to cook evenly. Strain it. Serve it hot.

Take shredded Cabbage in a bowl
Add sliced onion and curry leaves
Add gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, hing, baking soda and salt
Mix it well
Add water to get a batter ( batter should be neither thick mor thin)
Heat oil in a kadai
Roll some batter in our hand
Drop it into oil
Cook in medium flame until golden brown. Flip the bondas to cook evenly
Strain the bondas
Tasty Cabbage bonda is ready. Serve it hot
